Grandfather Clock
The clock is fitted with a German Hermle triple chime movement which can be manually silenced at any time by adjusting the lever adjacent to numeral 3. The movement is weight driven on chains and is wound by pulling the chains downwards.
The clock has a choice of 3 chimes: St Michael/Whittington/Westminster Chime.
The clock cabinet is in excellent used condition throughout!
I should think the clock was manufactured within the last 30 years - as the pictures show, the clock has been very well cared for by the previous owner and is in fantastic condition.
The brass weights are also in great condition - there are a few scuff marks on the weights which cannot be seen when the weights are hung correctly on the chains. The brass lyre pendulum is also in great condition as is the brass moon phase dial which has a fully functioning revolving moon.
The mechanical movement will be professionally serviced before sale - please allow enough time for this work to be completed.
Dimensions: 77.5 inches high x 18.5 inches wide x 10 inches deep.
(Where measurements taken width and depth , are where the clock meets the floor)

The brass weights and pendulumn disc are in excellent condition as is the brass moon dial.

Access to the movement is achieved by lifting the hood of the clock upwards/ away from the main body of the clock case.
A video has been added to the listing which I hope is clear enough for you to see and hear the clock chiming and striking away. The videos on ebay only allow about 1 minute of 'quality' filming time - anything over that normally results in poorer quality! Please let me know if you would like a better quality video of the clock.
Dimensions: 71 inches high x 14.75 inches wide x 8.25 inches deep.

The clock is fitted with a German Kieninger Westminster chime movement which can be manually silenced at any time by adjusting the lever adjacent to numeral 3. The movement is weight driven on chains and is wound by pullimg the chains downwards.
The clock cabinet is in excellent used condition throughout. I believe it was manufactured in 2000 so its about 26 years of age and has seen by the pictures uploaded, has been very well cared for by the previous owners.
The brass weights and brass lyre pendulum are all in excellent condition. The ornate brass dial is also in great condition with just a few (tiny) imperfections here and there, nothing significant. I have taken a few pictures of the dial which clearly shows the condition of the dial.

Grandfather Clock
Manufactured by Richard Broad / approximately 50 + years of age
The clock is fitted with a Kieninger Westminster Chime movement. The chimes can be manually silenced at any time by sliding the hood of the clock forward and adjusting the silencing levers either side of the movement, downwareds. This is a very quick process and very straightforward to do.
The movement is weight driven on chains and wound by pulling the chains downwards.
The movement has been professionally serviced and the clock is ready for delivery
The clock is in very good used condition. The clock case does have a few age related imperfections here and there, nothing significant ... nothing more than what you would expect from an ijtem over 50 years of age. Hopefully the pictures show the clock clearly.
I can do a more detailed video of the clock if you require that. The ebay video only allows about a minute of clear filming. If that time is exceeded, the videos are very poor quality! However, I hope that the video uploaded allows the potential buyer to hear the excellent quality of the Westminster chime and houly strike. Very deep and mellow chime!
The clock has been contructed from a mix of solid walnut and walnut finish. Typically, the doors and decorative features are solid timber.
The brass moon dial is in good good condition. There are imperfections on the dial which I have tried to picture. The worst of these imperfections are along the lower section of the dial where the hood of the clock meets the dial; these imperfections are not visible when the hood of the clock is fitted in place. The hood easily slides into place for easy access of the mechanical movement. I have uploaded a picture of the clock without the hood in place. If you zoom in you will see the area of the dial where the hood has made contact with the dial.
As mentioned this area is not visible when the hood is positioned in place.
The brass weights do have some mild soiling and imperfections but can be positioned on the chains such that these imperfections are hard to notice. I have uploaded a picture of the 3 brass weights.
And likewise, as above, the brass pendulum disc.

The clock cabinet is in excellent used condition throughout. There is a very small imperfection which I have pictured... when I first noticed this it looked like grain pattern! This is very small but I am a honest and always add everything that I am aware of.

The clock cabinet is in excellent used condition. Yew is noted for its irrigular, wavy grain patterns and clusters of knots in the grain and noted for its amazing contrast in shades of colour! I hope the pictures show the clock clear enough.
